The world's first ultra-clear glass production line of over 26 meters was ignited and put into operation in Zibo

This production line has once rolled off the production line of China's first ultra-clear glass, has produced the world's largest single piece of ultra-clear glass with a length of 26 meters, and has also made Zibo Jinjing ultra-clear glass a business card of China's ultra-clear glass. Today, it has once again broken through the ceiling of the glass industry through technological transformation, reaching 30 meters.

On July 1, Shandong Jinjing Technology Co., Ltd. ignited the five-line technical transformation project of Jinjing. As the engineer ignites the kiln generator, the natural gas burns in the kiln, causing the furnace temperature to rise. After 21 days of baking, the new line will be officially activated.

This is a 20-year-old production line. In July 2005, this production line produced China's first ultra-clear glass. Since then, the super-large and ultra-thick ultra-clear glass produced here has been used in domestic landmarks such as the National Center for the Performing Arts and Daxing International Airport, as well as foreign landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, bringing the "Made in Zibo" ultra-large ultra-clear glass to the world.

However, modern architecture pursues the aesthetics of light and shadow, and has higher requirements for glass transmittance and other performance, and the old production line cannot meet the needs of product upgrading. Li Gang, general manager of Jinjing Technology Zibo Company, introduced that the new production line has upgraded key refractories and core equipment, and also introduced an advanced combustion system, which can reduce energy consumption by 10% per year compared with before. "The degree of intelligence has improved, and in the huge factory, only more than 30 people per shift can operate the entire production line."

Technological transformation also injects a new "soul" into the production line. This technological transformation will drive Jinjing Technology to upgrade the quality of ultra-clear glass, and produce pure and beautiful series of products. Previously, the length of ultra-clear glass of Jinjing Technology continued to break the world record, from 8 meters, 12 meters, 18 meters to 23 meters, 26 meters, this production line can produce more than 26 meters of ultra-clear glass, and is expected to break through 30 meters, the light transmittance of the product has also increased from the original 91.5% to 92%, the size is larger, and the degree of sight restoration is also higher.

"Another key metamorphosis is the ability to continuously take super-large boards." Li Gang said that the original production line needed to stay for half an hour after a product rolled off the production line, while the new production line increased the stacking rate of oversized slabs to 100%.

With the ignition and commissioning of the technical transformation project, this old production line ushered in its third kiln period.
