However, with the continuous advancement of green energy-saving and environmental protection policies, the requirements for building energy conservation are getting higher and higher, resulting in higher and higher glass parameters in commercial centers. In this way, the problem arises, the simple use of double-layer insulating glass has been unable to meet the requirements of energy saving, the need to use coated LOW-E glass to meet the requirements of the specification, this pit will come, if the design institute lacks experience, it is very likely to use medium or low permeability glass when selecting glass parameters.

If the inexperienced technical department of Party A is superimposed, does not make a model or lacks the sensitivity to the need for high transparency of the commercial first layer of glass, then it is very likely that the first floor will be scrapped, and when the commercial management goes to the inspection and finds that it is dark through the glass and cannot see clearly, the technical department will wait to be complained!

To solve this problem, there are two directions:

⏹️ Double-walled insulating glass

In addition to the first floor and some catering and fitness, there are not many locations where glass is used in the commercial center, and the façade materials are usually solid curtain walls such as stone and aluminum panels.

Therefore, we can use the trade-off calculation to design the first layer of glass as an ordinary double-layer insulating glass, and the glass can usually be set to 6+12A+6 to calculate, and there is a certain probability that it can be calculated in some places where the requirements for energy saving are not high.

It can be used as much as possible in this way, because it meets the requirements of commercial use and is the cheapest.

⏹️ Coated LOW-E glass

Although the ordinary double-layer insulating glass is fragrant, but in terms of the current specifications, many places can not be used, so we have to choose single-silver, double-silver or even three-silver LOW-E insulating glass, which needs to set the parameters of light transmittance, from the empirical point of view, you can choose high-permeability LOW-E glass with visible light transmittance greater than 70%, and now it is usually technically possible.

For example, CSG's glass is biased towards blue gray, and Xinyi's glass has a slightly green background, but Xinyi's goods are very cost-effective and are very suitable for cost-sensitive developers.

Of course, if you don't have a bad money, you can choose ultra-clear glass for coating.

Note: If the high-permeability LOW-E glass cannot pass the acceptance due to the high shading coefficient, you can consider adding heat insulation film to the glass to reduce the shading coefficient.

Of course, if it is not a key project, such as hotels, offices, restaurants and other locations with viewing needs should try not to use color glaze, and more is better than less.

Due to its light transmittance, the glass curtain wall of the commercial center can see the beautiful furnishings through the glass, but you can also see the rough beams and columns, if it is not decorated, it will be very abrupt from the façade and affect the effect.

Judging from past experience, the glass curtain wall on the first floor is made of high-permeability glass, and the beams, columns, and walls behind the glass are clearly visible, and it is more appropriate to use metal backing panels.

High-end projects: 2mm aluminum veneer (powder coating) can be selected.

Ordinary items: 1.5mm galvanized steel plate (powder coating) can be selected.

The color of the paint is dark gray or dark blue-gray, which is in harmony with the color of the internal keel of the glass curtain wall.

The glass curtain wall above the second floor is generally dominated by medium-permeable glass, plus the position is higher, and the beams, columns, and walls behind the glass can be seen to make dark paints.
